Boulder 2140 - Young Professionals - organizes a monthly professional development lunch which features various business leaders in the Boulder community area.
This month's topic: Personal Finance
Topics will range from living within your means, rent vs. buy, life insurance, 401ks, IRA’s, and the the ever so changing stock market. The event will be a great place to learn, network, and have fun.
Featuring Guest Speaker: Thomas Denkenberger of Merrill Lynch
About Thomas
Thomas Denkenberger is a scientist in the field of finance. While his undergraduate degree is in Honors Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and his Masters is in Molecular Biology, his true passion is in the field of personal wealth management where for the past several years he has focused on advanced portfolio design for high net worth individuals. He is currently developing a novel form of Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) designed to have a greater positive impact than traditional SRI. In addition to his love for financial science and history, Thomas enjoys staying active as the captain of a different sport team each season including Ultimate Frisbee, Dodgeball and Floor Hockey. And like all good Boulderites, Thomas loves hiking, biking, backpacking and fishing.
