Event Description:
The Society is looking forward to working with members of the Boulder community to make the Plunge a successful event, and we’d like to invite you to learn more about the 2017 Boulder Polar Plunge at our kickoff on Tuesday, Feb. 9 from 3 to 6 p.m. at The Kitchen, 1039 Pearl Street, Boulder.
The kickoff is open to the community and will include information about the Boulder Polar Plunge, how to form a team, and get involved as a volunteer. Each person attending the kickoff will receive a free happy hour drink or side. The event will be open house style, so feel free to stop by at any time!
The American Cancer Society is also looking for volunteer committee members to help plan the Boulder Polar Plunge. Information on volunteering and participating in the Polar Plunge will be available at the kickoff.
The event registration website is open at boulderpolarplunge.org. Funds raised through the event will support the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission to eliminate cancer and help people stay well, get well, find cures, and fight back against the disease.
