Local governments and Chambers of Commerce are working together to prepare businesses for 2024 state and local plastic laws. The Plastic Pollution Reduction Act will ban Styrofoam cups and containers in all stores in Colorado, and require many businesses to charge customers for plastic bags. Some cities in Boulder County have additional requirements. Learn about new regulations for 2024, options for businesses, why requirements like these are increasing, and what assistance is available for businesses that need to make changes.
