When Travel + Leisure named Boulder one of five of “America’s Best Towns for July 4th” two years in a row, we could only nod in agreement. A little known secret is that the Museum of Boulder has a rooftop deck that has a great view of the fireworks without the crowds of Folsom Field! The Museum of Boulder will be open starting at 7:00pm to explore the exhibits prior to the fireworks which start at dark, usually around 9:30pm. At dusk, visitors can head outside to the rooftop or stay inside the Museum in air-conditioned comfort to have an amazing view of the fireworks as they burst over the stadium. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for outdoor seating.
