The program will assist small businesses with an overview of what they need to worry about for compliance, and what they really don’t need to be concerned with. They will leave with valuable tools, and will learn the “practical real business side” of HR.

  • Medical and recreational marijuana - how do I handle this?

Presenter Bio:
 
The HR Department was founded in February, 1988 by Cinda Daggett. The company grew steadily as venture capitalists, CEO’s, CFO’s and business owners could see that having access to a high level HR professional without the high overhead costs associated with hiring this type of person, was a business model they might want to explore for their own company.
 
Cinda has assisted over 100 Front Range companies in the areas of legal compliance, executive coaching, designing and reviewing employee handbooks, building an HR infrastructure, recruiting, employee relations, succession planning and compensation plan development, implementation and communication
 
Cinda is a national speaker for Vistage (formally known as TEC) and was recently recognized in the Boulder County Business Report as one of the top 15 management consultants in Colorado. In addition, she is frequently a guest speaker at the Leads School of Business at the University of Colorado. She is also a mentor to the Entrepreneur program at needs.
