Join Bolder Young Professionals in giving back, as we volunteer with Sister Carmen Community Center for a morning of gardening. The Garden is located @ 655 Aspen Ridge Dr., Lafayette. You will need to park on the South side of the building, or on the street in front. (Do not park in the front lot reserved for food bank participants). The garden is to the West on the hill.
Garden volunteers need to dress for the weather, wear closed toe shoes or boots, and bring a jacket. Please bring sunscreen & hats, and you may want to bring a water bottle. Please meet the BYP Group, who will connect you with a Staff Member upon your arrival. There will be a group general waiver for you to sign, give you a tour, and specify tasks to be done.
Review of Sister Carmen's core values statement at www.sistercarmen.org. They operate on funds generated from a thrift store, and donations from individuals and groups.
