Don’t miss the October installment of Boulder Conversations! This monthly series highlights the extraordinary residents whose contributions make Boulder the remarkable community that it is today. Participants enjoy wine and light appetizers and have an opportunity to interact with the speakers and ask questions.

October’s speaker is Violeta Chapin, CU professor of Law. Violeta teaches the Criminal and Immigration Defense Clinic where she and her students support and defend undocumented students and other members of our immigrant community as the uncertainty around DACA, Temporary Protected Status and other immigrant-related programs continues. Prof. Chapin joined the Colorado Law faculty in August of 2009 after serving for seven years as a trial attorney with the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia.
