Superstar pianist Terrence Wilson joins the Phil for what is perhaps the quintessential virtuoso showpiece, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3, full of blazing pyrotechnics and heartrendingly beautiful melodies. To open the program, the Boulder Phil co-commissioned two video artists—Alexi Moriarty and Stephen Lias—to create innovative visual content to complement McTee’s Circuits and Hovhaness’ Mysterious Mountain.
