Boulder Symphony - West Side Story

Join the Symphony on May 6th to hear selections from one of the greatest musicals of all time, West Side Story. The program will also feature the greatest dances from all over the Americas, including danzons and tangos, to salsas and rumbas! Featured are the sultry ballets of Manuel de Falla and Alberto Ginastera, music from the Three-Cornered Hat, and Estancia. The Symphony brings to life the sensuality, joy, and nostalgia of Arturo Marquez's Danzon no. 2. We are excited to feature a composition by a young Chilean composer in a new competition spanning the Americas!
