Women, Self-Advocacy & Leadership Journeys
In May 2021 the National Institute of Economic Research released a working paper that found women subjectively describe their ability and performance less favorably than equally performing men. Their research shows that this gender-gap in self-promotion is persistent across personal and professional environments and arises as early as the sixth grade.
As women, we hold ourselves to high standards – standards that may be holding us back - Back from resources or support, back from financial gain, or even back from personal wellness. At this special Brunch-Time BWLG, Carly will facilitate a discussion on navigate your leadership tips for self-advocacy.
Together, through Carly's knowledge and facilitated small groups we will explore what does advocacy looks and feel like, what should we be advocating for, and how do we identify advocates for ourselves and be them for others.
