Tastings Saturday 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Join Charlie Saturday as he does what he does best- wine schmoozin and boozin. Stop by and welcome him back to his ole gig and learn about three international wines from the Master.
Hito Tempranillo:
Its bouquet is frank and expressive with fresh primary aromas of tempranillo, blackberry and redcurrant. In the mouth, it is balanced and smooth with good acidity.
Puculi-Neri:
No frills Friulano, this 100% Piculìt Neri from Emilio Bulfon is a powerful expression of a rare and enchanting grape. Herbaceous, bright, smoky, and spicy, you'll uncork this beast and find yourself on the business end of some flavors of juicy mixed berries and dusty tannins. Italian wine for Cab lovers; try it with prime rib.
Berger Gruner Veltliner:
Every once in a while someone comes along that hasn’t yet tried Gruner Veltliner and I usually direct them to this very wine. Dry, zingy, crisp and clean with pure, frisky green fruit flavors of lime, melon and pear with just a subtle white pepper note, this is a terrific alternative for Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio lovers. Even better, it comes in a liter-sized bottle.
