The Art of Collaboration + Boulder's Community Cultural Plan Update!
Collaboration is a hallmark of successful dancers, actors and their artistic directors. Much has been written about the shift in the workplace toward collaborative frameworks that inspire us to engage in new and different ways with our work and with each other. What can we learn from our ‘core creatives’ about successful collaboration? Join us for a deep dialogue with three of Boulder’s best! Katie Elliott and Jimmy LaVita Co-Artistic Directors of 3rd Law Dance/Theater, arguably THE best modern dance company in Colorado, and Emily K. Harrison, theatrical power house, creative director of Square Product Theatre and Project Manager of Boulder Arts Week (BAW)!

· 3rd Law’s presents “Bach Uncaged”, (March 27-28, during BAW) in collaboration with the Boulder Bach Festival
· Square Product presents Ham McBeth (March 5 – 21). Those attending the the“Art of Collaboration” will have an ‘insider’s view ‘ of the scenery for Ham McBeth.
The Community Cultural Plan will define a community-wide vision, developed in collaboration with the City and the broader community, for supporting Boulder’s arts, culture and creative communities in ways never before experienced in Boulder. Matt Chasansky, Manager of the Office of Arts & Culture for the City of Boulder will lead a conversation about the Community Cultural Plan and explore themes that are emerging from the planning process. Learn what this may mean for the business community and citizens of Boulder and what you can do to help Boulder realize its creative potential!
