Community Invited to Support Colorado Children in Need at 8th Annual Golf for A Precious Child Tournament
(Broomfield, Colo.) – A Precious Child, a local nonprofit that provides basic essentials to disadvantaged and displaced children in Colorado, will be hosting their 8th Annual Golf for A Precious Child Tournament on Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Omni Interlocken Resort Golf Club in Broomfield, Colorado. A Precious Child invites community members who share a passion for making a difference in the lives of local underprivileged children to play in the tournament. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. and there will be a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. The tournament will be played scramble-style.
The day will include 18 holes of golf, contests, appearances by the Broncos Cheerleaders, Miss Colorado, putting contest, a cookout style lunch provided by Ted’s Montana grill, a silent auction and a chance to win great drawing prizes. All proceeds will benefit A Precious Child’s mission to support children in the local community.
The golf course stretches over 300 acres and is a par 72 course that provides a truly exceptional experience for the pro or amateur golfer. With more than 400 feet in elevation changes, the course offers a stunning panoramic view of the Colorado Rockies. From the Vista's fourth hole, one can see from the Front Range Pike's Peak to the South and Long's Peak to the North, along with views of downtown Denver and the eastern plains.
All members of the community are invited to register a foursome for the tournament and can do so at APreciousChild.org. Registration fees cover golf fees, cart, “swag” bag, lunch and refreshing beverages throughout the day. Space is available for Event Sponsors.
