Connect Boulder BTC Quarterly Luncheon
When: Tuesday, March 5th, 2024, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
Where: Boulder Chamber
BTC, in partnership with the City of Boulder, hosts quarterly transportation luncheons to network and spread the word on the latest issues, programs and insights to improve multimodal commuting in Boulder for employers and their employees. This meeting is for anyone interested in transportation in Boulder, sustainability or transportation enthusiasts, private and government professionals in the community, human resources and facilities managers, and foremost, Employee Transportation Coordinators (ETCs) representing Boulder businesses. Interested and community members are also welcome to attend. Our meetings are a great opportunity to network, share ideas, and stay up to date on local transportation news.
The spring meeting will feature timely presentations on transportation access, safety, and equity, including:
- Celebrating Boulder’s $23 million Safe Streets and Roads For All grant, with Devin Joslin, City of Boulder Vision Zero traffic engineer
- Investing in transportation safety advocacy at the local and national levels, with Triny Willerton, executive director of It Could Be Me and member of the US DOT Transforming Transportation Advisory Committee
- Digging into current transportation policy and legislation at the state level, with Danny Katz, executive director of CoPIRG and Jonathan Singer, senior director of policy programs at the Boulder Chamber
- Learning about the City of Boulder's pilot sustainable commuting reward program being developed in partnership with Commutifi, with Chris Hagelin, senior transportation planner.
We will also welcome Boulder City Council Member Ryan Schuchard, who brings a focus on safe streets and climate action to his new role in city leadership.
Join us for a dynamic conversation about expanding access to transit and enhancing transportation safety and equity, and enjoy a delicious lunch while networking with fellow transportation enthusiasts.
The Chamber and Boulder Transportation Connections (BTC) encourage you to use sustainable transportation options to get to Chamber events! You can get to the Chamber easily:
- HOP bus: Take the HOP Clockwise or Counterclockwise, alight at 23rd St., and walk two blocks east to the Chamber.
- BCycle: Pick up a BCycle electric bike at any nearby docking station and ride to the station at Greenleaf Park, just across Pearl St. from the Chamber building.
- Carpool or CarShare: Carpool with others or borrow a Colorado CarShare car and park in our front lot.
- Walk or bike: The Boulder Chamber is on the corner of Pearl St. and Folsom St., less than a mile from the Pearl Street Mall and just 1 mile from the CU campus. Bike racks are located by the front door and to the right of the front door, under the balcony.
