Event Description:

Bolder Young Professionals invite you to join us for the Foothills United Way's 20th annual Day of Caring. Day of Caring is the largest, single-day volunteer effort throughout Boulder & Broomfield counties. The Day of Caring event provides an opportunity for local volunteers to get out into their communities, to learn about local nonprofit and government organizations and to give something back, all while having a great time. By registering for this event, you are joining the Bolder Young Professional Organization volunteer group and will be working alongside other BYP members.

Volunteer Projects take place between 8:00 am and noon with a post-event Commemorative Picnic beginning at 12:30 pm. Projects vary in size and scope and in most cases include physical labor.

This year's project will be with Boulder County CareConnect, a private non-profit, provides safety net services to help local elders age in their homes. They are volunteer-powered and community funded through the kindness of people like you. Many of their clients are facing eviction, city fines, and pressure from their families and neighbors to leave their homes because of their inability to maintain their yards. BCCC believe in the right of all people, especially the seniors in our community to age in place with dignity and respect. Your contribution of time and talent during Day of Caring will help make this possible.
