Event Description:

This event has been canceled and will be rescheduled in 2016.  Stay tuned for details.

Boulder County businesses are an important part of our community and efforts toward poverty reduction.  The best antidote to poverty is a paycheck.  When businesses make it easier for people with families to work, they have happier employees who show up, stay in the workforce, work hard and engage in their work.

Join us for a sneak preview of the documentary series The Raising of America and discuss how employers can support families in the workplace.

Want to attend and need child care?
The Chamber and YWCA are working together to provide limited space for FREE Child Care for children 1.5 to 12 years.  Children under 1.5 years do not qualify for this program due to logistics and care giving requirements. The YWCA will serve a healthy, nutritious dinner for the children. If your child has an allergy, please make a note of it when filling out the YWCA enrollment packet.

How to sign their child up for care.
  1.       Call the YWCA center as soon as possible to reserve a spot. Children's Alley number is (303) 449-1951.   Space is limited.
  2.       As soon as YWCA hears from you, they will put them in the schedule. However, in order to receive care you must fill out our enrollment package. There are several pages, so it may seem excessive for a single night's care, but the major benefit to this is that once they are enrolled with us they can use our service as much as they like in the future!
  3.       To access these forms, go to this page and click on the ?enrollment form? link: http://www.ywcaboulder.org/childrensalley/admissions-rates/
  4.       You can scan&email these forms, fax them, or bring them in to our office in person before the 4th.
