CARPINETO DOGAJOLO BIANCO
Hailing from Tuscany, the Carpineto Bianco is a medium bodied white wine with pleasant citrus aromas and flavors. This is a young fresh wine with balanced acidity and a clean and delicate finish. The wine is composed of 40% Chardonnay, 30% Sauvignon Blanc, and 30% Grechetto. All of the varietals are vinified separately in stainless steel tanks.
CARPINETO DOGAJOLO RED
Also from Tuscany, the Carpineto Dogajolo Red is composed of 80% Sangiovesse and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. This is an entry tier red wine from the internationally acclaimed producer, Carpineto. The name derives from the Italian word doga, meaning stave, the thin, narrow strips of wood used to form casks. The nose of this wine is fruity with hints of cherry, coffee, vanilla and spice. It is full and soft on the palate with complex and well- developed flavors and tannins. Great for everyday drinking, this wine pairs well with a wide variety of dishes including antipasti salads, grilled white meat and tomato based pastas.
LAN RIOJA CRIANZA
The Lan Rioja Crianza is composed of 93% Tempranillo, 2% Mazuelo, and 5% Garnacha. It is aged for 14 months in combined French and American Oak. It is then bottled for 9 months before it is released. The wine showcases intense red cherry color and aromas of red fruit, licorice, vanilla and cinnamon. Balanced on the palate, it has a long lasting and satisfying finish. Pairs great with cold starters, pasta, pizza, poultry, and grilled red meats.
