DOMAINE LE CAPITAINE VOUVRAY - The Vouvray appellation was created in 1936 and is considered one of the most important white producing areas of the Loire Valley. The wines of this area can range from dry to sweet. This wine falls directly in the middle of that scope. Consider this a demi sec style. 100% Chenin Blanc with notes of peach, apples, and pears. Spicy honey flavors give this wine a well-rounded texture. Great acidity and slight sweetness make this a great match for spicy fare.
