On November 7, 1893, Colorado voters approved a referendum allowing women the right to vote – decades before the 19th Amendment. This interactive presentation by Megan Moriarty from the Museum of Boulder will examine the pioneering women who led the movement, the messaging they used to convince male voters to “give them a chance” and the influence the historic vote had on women living in the state.
