Event Description:

Spend your Saturday morning learning the history of letterpress via the Museum’s extensive collection of printing plates.

  • learn the basics of letterpress with Carolyn Sweeney of Black Dog Press and pull your own prints using historic printing plates. She’ll have a proof press on hand for you to witness the magic of letterpress!

  • peruse the Museum’s collection of printing plates from the Daily Camera – including many from the turn of the last century

  • leave with 6 postcards to send to friends and family (or keep them for yourself!)

  • ticket includes all workshop materials, snacks, and admission to the Museum – stay and visit the exhibits after the class

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED: $25 Museum Members | $30 General Admission
