Join us for our annual Persian Cultural Day at the Museum of Boulder! Dance into spring with a joyful post-Nowruz celebration, in partnership with the Persian Cultural Circle.

  •     Taste Iranian party food
  •     Wine & Cider will be available for purchase onsite (credit card sales preferred)
  •     Be dazzled with festive sights, music and humor
  •     Participate in traditional Iranian circle dances
  •     Try your hand with an ornate Persian-style coloring sheet, poem included
  •     Take a picture at the Persian spring-themed photo booth

This event will be held at the Museum of Boulder in partnership with the Persian Cultural Circle.

History of Persian New Year:

The Persian New Year has been celebrated in Iran and the Persian diaspora for more than 3,000 years. Nowruz celebrates arrival of spring as a victory over darkness. This celebration begins on the spring equinox, marking the first day of Farvardin, the first month of the Iranian solar calendar.
