A real paleontologist will show your young learner the tricks of the trade with awesome paleontology projects! The Preschool Paleontologists will be learning about prehistoric animals that lived in Colorado millions of years ago. Students will be able to touch real fossils and see tools that actual paleontologists use every day. They will dig for fossils, make fossils to take home, and create an extinction-causing volcano! Facilitator: Lizzie Reinthal is a paleo-botanist-turned-preschool teacher who has worked in the field and done paleontology programming for a range of ages around the country.  Best for 3-4 year-olds.
