Event Description:

Join Prickly Pear Sports on August 27-28 for a live, contactless, safe event that challenges you to complete up to five 5K runs in just 24 hours. It’s going to be a ton of fun, and we’d love for Chamber members, family and friends, to join us.  As part of this challenge, Kim Pierpoint, Owner of Prickly Pear Sports, is raising money to support the Kempe Foundation.  A Denver-based charity with national reach (including services in Boulder County) Kempe's mission is to increase awareness, engage in advocacy and secure and provide resources for the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect.  100% of any donations we raise will benefit the Kempe Foundation.  For more information about the event and to sign up for Team Prickly Pear, go to:  https://5x5k.eventsforgood.com/fundraisers/kimpierpoint/5x5kden-kempe.  

Location:
There are 5 5K app-guided routes in Denver, Parker, Littleton, Lone Tree and Westminster that you can access in any order, at any time, from 5:00pm Friday through 5:00pm Saturday.  Or, you can run from your own neighborhood or even on a treadmill if you prefer a live virtual race format.
