Name: Solo Exhibition - Ariana Hoch's 'Sun Soaked Horizons'
Date: November 11, 2021
Time: 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM MST
'Sunburnt and Content' by Ariana Hoch
Event Description:
The Yellow Barn Art Initiative is pleased to announce our first solo exhibition in the historic Yellow Barn at 9417 N Foothills Hwy, Longmont CO.

Curated by CU Art History graduate, Mary Catherine Hodges, our first exhibition, titled Sun Soaked Horizons, presents a collection of paintings by Boulder-based, emerging artist, Ariana Hoch. This collection is centralized around color contrasting the warm neutral tones of Colorado with vibrant color palettes and thick lively brushstrokes. Before moving to Colorado, Ariana spent the past five years traveling between North Carolina, New Orleans, Central America, and Europe painting her experiences. Sun Soaked Horizons features her most recent landscape pieces, each painted outside in the sunshine on raw linen canvas. They explore feelings of vastness instilling a sense of peace and joy.

Our art initiative aims to serve emerging, local artists by providing visibility in the local art community and resources in an attempt to break down the typically high barriers to entry for artists in the art industry.

Sun Soaked Horizons is on view by appointment at 9417 N Foothills Hwy from 4:30 to 7:30 PM, 7 November 2021 - 21 November 2021. To make an appointment, please click here.
