Join us at the Museum of Boulder partnering with The Persian Cultural Circle for a live concert on the rooftop featuring Iranian and Central Asian (Turkish, Arabic, and Kurdish) melodies.
Learn to sing a Persian song with us before you lean back and enjoy the concert under the stars.
This musical presentation is brought to you by the Persian Cultural Circle in honor of TIRGAN, the Iranian summer Festival. It honors the rain deity along with water, our most precious shared resource which nourishes the crops and us!
It was customary for friends to weave bracelets out of rainbow-colored threads and give them to one another as a sign of friendship, well wishes, and intentions for happiness.
Wearing the colorful bracelets, all would go outside, share sweets and wine, dance, sing, play music, and engage in water splashing games while enjoying being in the community with others.
