Event Description:
Michaelle will offer insight into how the brain normally develops and what may interfere with the stages of typical development. Most importantly we show parents how, with proper intervention, their child's problems may be corrected.
This is an informational presentation for parents and educators in our community.

Michaelle has 20+ years experience as an Occupational Therapist. She holds 2 Bachelor degrees, one in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Westfield State College the other in Occupational Therapy from Dominican College of Blauvelt. She holds a Master of Science in Management from Troy State University. Michaelle is a Retired Major from the United States Army Reserve Specialty Corp and a Bronze Star Recipient. She has worked a multitude of settings including in schools ages Pre K-12, inpatient care and out-patient Orthopedics, in home therapy for ages 3-99. Michaelle has continuing education in the areas of sensory integration, processing disorders, mental health and orthopedics. She holds a certificate for her training with NOVA, National Organization for Victim Assistance. While serving in Iraq Michaelle led two teams of mental health specialist in providing a multitude of mental health services for her fellow service members. She is now the Owner of 2 Brain Balance Centers and has been helping children in the community for the past 3 years.
