In honor of Immigrant Heritage Month and Independence Day, Motus Theater presents UndocuMonologues! Join us to listen to jazz great Robert Johnson offering a musical response to powerful stories from the heart by undocumented community leaders on the frontline of U.S. immigration policy. Johnson, who sang with Stan Getz and Stevie Wonder, will be accompanied by the pianist Adam Bodine.

5pm: UndocuMonologues Family-Friendly - Autobiographical monologues by Kiara Chavez, Juan Juarez, Armando Peniche, Irving Reza & Reydesel Salvidrez Rodriguez. Musical responses by jazz great Robert Johnson and pianist Adam Bodine.

6:30pm: Shoebox Stories Podcast Launch Party
Celebrate Immigrant Heritage Month with the launch of our Shoebox Stories: UndocuAmerica Series Podcast where national leaders such as Jorge Ramos, Nicholas Kristof and Gloria Steinem read the autobiographical monologues of undocumented leaders! Food, Drinks; exclusive podcast footage; and music by Robert Johnson. Sponsored by the Human Relations Commission for the City of Boulder and League of Women Voters of Boulder County.

8pm: UndocuMonologues Unplugged - Autobiographical stories by Tania Chairez, Laura Peniche, Alejandro Fuentes Mena, Victor Galvan, and Cristian Solano-Córdova. Musical responses by jazz great Robert Johnson and pianist Adam Bodine.
