Women's Leadership Roundtable

Professionally and personally, we each must become a champion. A champion for ourselves, and for women around us. Another important piece of this process is choosing champions and fostering those relationships. It’s clear women have come a long way. Yet, the following statistics show that there is still much work to do:

• Women in upper level executive, administrative and managerial occupations earn 72.3% of their male colleagues. The pay gap across all occupations is 77.5%.
• Over 40% of mothers are now the sole or primary source of income in U.S. households.
• Breadwinning moms don’t find their earning power buying them much more help at home – at least, not from their partners.

When we think about what a successful business woman looks like, what comes to mind? How much aligns with what we must do to achieve our career (and life) goals … to do more than simply “make it,” but to also live a fulfilling life, too?
