Women's Night of Connection 2021

Amanda Gorman made U.S. history this year as the youngest poet to read at a presidential inauguration. Before that, she served as a Youth Delegate for the United Nations. She was inspired to get involved after watching a speech by Pakistani Nobel Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai.

Come in and be inspired!

This year, at our first Women’s Night of Connection since 2019, we are expanding our audience and carving the path for the younger generations. We are asking all of our amazing Boulder women to join, and also bring their protégés. Granddaughters, daughters, nieces, cousins, students – anyone from 8th grade and above.

Not only will we have two Boulder trailblazers participating in a community discussion about inspiration and mentorship, but we will also have conversation starter insights to help introduce the next generation to networking and inspire them to reach the next rung on the ladder. Teen participants will also have the opportunity to schedule a complimentary 1-1 session on resume building through the Youth Adult Program - Workforce Boulder County.

With special guests:
  • JEAN DUBOFSKY | First woman to become a Colorado Supreme Court Justice and a former Deputy Attorney General for Colorado.
  • JANELL TARMA CAMPOSANO | 2021 Boulder Chamber Women Who Light the Community Emerging Youth Leader

Join us for an evening of great connections! Meet other professional women and continue establishing relationships with Boulder's business community. Mix and mingle over appetizers and drinks at an inspiring evening celebrating inspiring women in leadership.

COVID-19 Vaccine Policy

We have made the decision to host Women’s Night of Connection indoors at the Rembrandt Yard with limited capacity to allow adequate social distancing for attendees. Out of an abundance of caution related to the continued spread of COVID-19, the Boulder Chamber will require proof of COVID-19 vaccination for everyone participating in this event, including attendees, staff and volunteers. Proof of vaccination will need to be shown at check-in in order to gain access to the event.

We have been approved as a “Vaccine Verified Event,” for that reason,  masks will be optional this evening.

Entry screening protocols:

  1. All staff, attendees and volunteers must be fully vaccinated to be on-site at the event, which means that you are at least 14 days after your first shot of the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine or your second shot of two-dose Pfizer or Moderna vaccines

  1. All employees and visitors must show their vaccination proof to enter the facility. This can be any of the following: COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card (issued by the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Disease Control & Prevention or WHO Yellow Card) which includes name of person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided, and date last dose administered); a photo of a Vaccination Record Card as a separate document; a photo of the employee's Vaccination Record Card stored on a phone or electronic device; documentation of COVID-19 vaccination from a health care provider; digital record accessed through the myColorado application.

  1. No person may enter the facility without being fully vaccinated except as required by law.

PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE: By attending this event, photographs and videos of the event and individuals will be public and possibly used on future marketing for the Boulder Chamber and its associates.
