The Boulder Chamber Board of Directors will welcome one new member and usher in the New Year with a new leadership team for 2015. Beginning this month, Gerry Agnes, President and CEO of Elevations Credit Union, assumes the role of Chair for the Chamber's Board of Directors. Stephanie Iannone, Owner and Managing Broker of Housing Helpers, will become the Board's Chair-elect. Both will hit the ground running as they guide the Board of Directors on an ambitious plan of work for 2015.

In addition to these leadership changes, Bob Morehouse will join the Board as a new member. Bob is the founder and CEO of Vermilion, a Boulder-based design and interactive agency. Bob's long-standing membership in the business and creative communities, as well as his extensive work with nonprofit and educational organizations throughout the county, will be great assets in his work on the Boulder Chamber Board.

We also will have some turnover on the Boulder Chamber Board. Both Pat O'Brien and Betty Artes are leaving the Chamber Board after completing their limit of two consecutive Board terms. Both Betty and Pat served as Board Chairs, among many other positions, and they are responsible for numerous accomplishments on behalf of the Boulder Chamber organization and our membership. Thank you to Betty and Pat for your service!

Finally, we are pleased to announce that Dan King, past Boulder Chamber Board Chair and previously the "Ambassador of Cool" (a.k.a. Managing Partner) for the Boulder Outlook Hotel and Suites, will be filling a vacancy on the Chamber staff as its Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Dan's business expertise and experience will be a great resource for the Boulder Chamber. We are honored to have him as a part of our staff team and look forward to his many contributions.
