CONFIRMED: Polis, Leing and Boulder County Commissioner Candidates for BOULDER CHAMBER “MEET THE 2014 CANDIDATES” – All Political Stripes Welcome!

The Boulder Chamber announced today that both candidates for Colorado’s second congressional district, Congressman Jared Polis (D) and challenger George Leing (R), have confirmed their attendance at the “Meet the 2014 Candidates” event. Also confirmed are Boulder County Commissioner candidates Cindy Domenico (D),Kai Abelkis(I),  and Randy Luallin (L).  As part of the Boulder Chamber Policy Roundtable Series, the meet and greet event will be held Wednesday, August 20 from 5:30 -7:00 at the Chamber Center, 2440 Pearl Street, Boulder.

“As Boulder’s premier advocacy organization for the business community, we are pleased to provide our members and the greater community this opportunity to turn down the noise and dial up the insight at this comprehensive, one-stop election resource event,” said Angelique Espinoza, Public Affairs Director for the Boulder Chamber.

Other confirmed attendees from both sides of the aisle, and in between, include CU Regent candidate Linda Shoemaker CD2 (D); Colorado Secretary of State candidates Joe Neguse (D) and David Schambach (L); candidates for the State House, Dickey Lee Hullinghorst (HD10- D), Jonathan Singer (HD11-D), “Liberty” Bill Gibson (HD11-L) and K.C. Becker (HD13-D);  Boulder County Clerk and Recorder candidate Ralph Shnelvar (L) and candidate for Boulder County Coroner Emma Hall (D).

The event is free to members and $25 for non-members.   Pre-registration is required.
