VAIL (September 17, 2018) – Students Shoulder-to-Shoulder (SStS) and the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business announced today its keynote speakers for the 2018 Global Solutions Forum, an intimate gathering of business, nonprofit, and education leaders aimed to inspire and support ethical leadership.

Nick Craig, author of the newly published book, Leading From Purpose, and President of the Core Leadership Institute, where he guides executives on the journey to discover and lead with purpose, will deliver a keynote address on the Thursday of this year’s Forum.

Mid-way through his 25-year leadership consulting and coaching career, Craig recognized that what senior leaders needed most was to access their deeper wisdom in challenging times. The realization refocused his approach to helping them unlock this access, resulting in the Core Leadership Institute’s ability to integrate the work of purpose with authentic leadership in realizing sustainable business results. Through Nick’s expertise in leadership purpose, he has worked in partnership with organizations ranging from Ben & Jerry’s, Heineken, ING Bank, LEGO® and Unilever to the United States Military Academy at West Point.
“It is one thing to discuss the concept of ethics and leadership in business, and it is another to practice it,” said Robert Bandoni, Executive Director for Students Shoulder-to-Shoulder, a nonprofit and curriculum-based program that educates and empowers generations as ethical leaders. “Nick’s participation elevates the Forum’s intention of inspiring actionable change in social responsibility through ethical leadership in business and education.”
In addition to the keynote, the Global Solutions Forum will feature panel discussions facilitated by The University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business and Josef Korbel School of International Studies, on topics such as “Concerns and aspirations of Millennials as they become a force for change in the workplace” and “Why corporate-community relationships are collaborative in some cases and violent in others?”  The Forum will also cover “Varying models of CSR,” “A culture of giving back” and “Purpose-driven organizations; ethics in a digital age.”

The Forum is targeted toward leaders and aspiring leaders in business, education and nonprofits. Young professionals and students in particular are encouraged to attend, walking away from the three-day conference with inspiration, a supportive network and actionable takeaways for making an impactful difference in society via ethical leadership practices.

The Forum will be held Oct. 24-26 at the Arrabelle and Antlers in Vail/ Tickets to the 2018 Global Solutions Forum are on sale now. For tickets and more information visit: https://shouldertoshoulder.com/gsf2018/.
